What is server colocation?

Colocation means you own the physical server and we provide everything around it: rack space, redundant power, cooling, bandwidth, IP addresses, physical security and remote hands. You get data-centre-grade infrastructure without building your own server room.

What does 1U, 2U and 4U mean?

U stands for rack unit, a standard 1.75-inch slot of vertical rack space. A 1U server is one slot tall, a 2U server two, and a 4U server four. Choose the plan that matches the height of your hardware.

What is included in the price?

Your rack space, redundant A+B power feeds, cooling, a 10Gbps uplink with 20TB of transfer, a /29 IPv4 subnet (5 usable IPs), 24/7 escorted access, UPS and generator backup, and a monthly remote-hands allowance.

Where is the data centre?

Our colocation is in a UK data centre, with redundant power and cooling, secure access control and full GDPR-compliant UK data residency.

How much power do I get?

Each colocation plan includes 1A on redundant A+B power feeds, backed by UPS and generator. If you need more power for higher-draw hardware, just ask and we will quote it.

Can I get more bandwidth or IPs?

Yes. The base plans include a 10Gbps port with 20TB transfer and a /29 subnet. Additional bandwidth, transfer and IP ranges are available on request.

What are remote hands?

Remote hands is our on-site engineering team carrying out physical tasks for you: racking, cabling, reboots, swapping drives and more. Each plan includes a monthly allowance, with extra hours available when needed.

Can I access my server in person?

Yes. You get 24/7 escorted access to your hardware. Arrange a visit and our team will let you in to work on your equipment.

Do you offer DDoS protection for colocation?

Yes, as an optional add-on. We can route your colocated IPs through our 30Tbps DDoS protection so attacks are scrubbed before they reach your hardware.

How do I get my server to you?

You can ship your hardware to the data centre or drop it off by arrangement. Our team will rack, cable and power it on, then confirm once it is online.

Is there a setup fee or contract?

Setup is free and there is no long contract. You pay the advertised monthly price and can give notice when you no longer need the space.

What if I need a full rack later?

No problem. As you grow you can move up to a larger U allocation or a full private 42U rack, and we will help you migrate your hardware in-house.
